Home Loan Application Process

It's as simple as:

STEP 1) Print and complete a statement of service form. Note for veterans or prior service members: in lieu of a statement of service letter, we will need you to send us your DD-214.

STEP 2) Print and complete the request for certificate of Eligbility VA Form 1880

STEP 3) Complete the online pre-qualification form.

On-post housing at Fort Riley is coordinated through Carr Hall at 45 Barry Avenue. The housing office has hours of operation from 0800 to 1700. All soldiers checking in at Fort Riley must report to the housing office before entering into any type of rental agreement off post. Call 785-239-3525 for more information regarding applying for housing. There are over 3,000 family quarters available at Fort Riley, and most quarters are equipped with a range and refrigerator. Each unit has central air conditioning and central heating. Most quarters are not available immediately, so soldiers will be placed on a waiting list. Single soldiers are required to reside in the barracks as long as space is available.
Off-post housing is offered in nearby communities but many types of residences are limited. Fort Riley is located in a rural area, so contact the housing office for a list of available properties that may align with your BAH rate allotment. Some single-family dwellings are available for purchase or rent, depending on the number of bedrooms required.
